YouTube Content Intern

Social Studio The Agency is a Miami-based marketing agency working with fashion, beauty, and lifestyle brands. This is an unpaid, for-credit educational internship built to teach college students how fashion and beauty brands grow on YouTube. This internship hands you the real playbook: titles, thumbnails, SEO, and Shorts strategy, the stuff that actually moves the algorithm, taught by people doing it daily for real clients. You get real-world experience by shadowing our team, completing guided learning projects, and getting regular feedback from agency leadership. Interns do not replace or displace paid staff.

Why this internship is different

  • Work alongside a team that partners with high-profile influencers and fashion, beauty, and lifestyle brands
  • A one-of-a-kind way to learn real YouTube growth strategy most students never get access to
  • We run on AI every day here, so you will be applying real AI workflows already in use at the agency rather than learning AI from scratch. We expect applicants to already be comfortable using AI tools
  • Standout interns may be considered for a paid role with our team or placement with one of our partner brands. This is a possibility, not a promise. A paid role or placement is never guaranteed

Cool things you'll get to work on

  • Help plan and script YouTube Shorts and long-form videos for real client channels
  • Test titles and thumbnails to see what actually gets clicks and watch time
  • Get hands-on with editing and pacing techniques used on live channels
  • Walk away with a YouTube content strategy you helped build for a real brand

What you will learn

  • How brands plan YouTube Shorts and long-form video content
  • How to write titles, descriptions, and thumbnails that get clicks
  • YouTube SEO and how the algorithm recommends videos
  • Video editing basics and how to repurpose content across platforms
  • How to read YouTube analytics and report on what is working

How the program works

  • Weekly training sessions and one-on-one mentorship with agency leadership
  • Real, hands-on experience shadowing our team on live fashion, beauty, and lifestyle brand accounts, always under close supervision
  • Guided learning projects (for example, a practice YouTube Shorts content plan and sample thumbnails) reviewed with written feedback
  • A final portfolio piece you can use in future job and internship applications
  • We work directly with your school to set learning objectives and complete any evaluations your credit program requires

What you get

  • Direct mentorship from our founder
  • A look inside the real AI powered workflows we run day to day
  • Networking and introductions to our client brands and industry contacts
  • A certificate of completion
  • A letter of recommendation for interns who complete the full term
  • Portfolio-ready work samples plus academic credit through your school

Who should apply

  • Currently enrolled college students studying marketing, film, digital media, communications, or a related field
  • Must be eligible to receive academic credit from your school for this internship
  • You watch a lot of YouTube and love fashion, beauty, and lifestyle content
  • Basic video editing skills are a plus but not required
  • You already know how to use AI tools like ChatGPT, Gemini, or Claude for your own work, and have your own active subscription to one. We run on AI daily and this is required to apply

Schedule

  • 10 to 15 hours per week, fully remote
  • Hours are scheduled around your classes and academic commitments
  • Runs for one academic term (Fall 2026), aligned with your school calendar

Compensation

This internship is unpaid and offered for academic credit only. You must be enrolled in your school's internship credit program to participate. Standout interns may be considered for a paid role with our team or placement with a partner brand, but a paid position is not guaranteed, and interns are not entitled to wages for time spent in the program, in line with the U.S. Department of Labor primary beneficiary test for internships.
