Purpose of the Position
The Sales Engineering Analytics Intern will analyze sales data, conduct market research, and support CRM and account planning initiatives. This role will help drive sales effectiveness and identify growth opportunities across the Industrial Production organization.
Main Tasks
- Assist with analyzing sales data to identify trends, customer opportunities, and business insights.
- Support CRM data maintenance and optimization efforts to improve reporting accuracy and sales effectiveness.
- Collaborate with sales team members on strategic account planning and customer growth opportunities.
- Create reports, dashboards, and presentations that help communicate sales performance and market findings.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to identify process improvement opportunities and enhance operational efficiency.
- Assist with sales pipeline tracking, forecasting activities, and ongoing business analysis.
- Present project findings and recommendations to sales leaders and key stakeholders.
- Gain exposure to customer-focused sales strategies, account management, and business development practices.
- Participate in mentoring, training, and professional development opportunities throughout the internship.
Requirements Profile
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Sales, Marketing, Data Analytics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Interest in sales, business development, analytics, and industrial technology markets.
- Grade Level: Junior or Senior standing at an accredited college or university.
- Interest in manufacturing, industrial technology, and customer-focused solutions.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and sales professionals.
- Self-motivated learner with a desire to develop skills in sales analytics and business development.
