Industrial Engineer Intern

Location: Westland, Michigan Job Type: Job (Full-Time, Onsite)

About the Role We're looking for an Industrial Engineer Intern to join our team in Westland, Michigan. This is a hands-on internship where you'll work alongside experienced engineers to improve distribution processes and support operations. The work is real — you'll contribute to live projects from day one.

What you'll do - Receiving products, stocking, picking, packing and shipping.

About you - Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field - Familiarity with lean principles, Six Sigma concepts, or process improvement methodologies - Comfortable working with data — Excel, basic statistics, or similar tools - CAD experience is a plus - Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a production environment - Good communicator who can work with both engineers and floor staff

Nice to have - Prior internship or co-op experience in a manufacturing setting - Exposure to simulation software (Arena, Simio, or similar) - Knowledge of ergonomics or workplace safety standards
