CASE Advancement Internship
The CASE Advancement Internship is an eight-week, full-time summer program that introduces students to careers in educational advancement. Interns work at a host college, university, or independent school, gaining hands-on experience in four key areas: fundraising and development, alumni relations, advancement services, and communications and marketing.
Students interested in advancement will gain practical experience to strengthen their resumes while building connections with professionals at their host institution and CASE members who lead the program. Interns will also connect with students from across the U.S., Europe, and Canada who share an interest in advancement.
Simply put: Institutions know CASE. Listing the CASE Advancement Internship on your resume can help you stand out when pursuing your first advancement role.
Interns receive a $5,000 stipend or an hourly wage. Both in-person and remote opportunities are available.
Eligibility: The internship is open to undergraduate and graduate students, as well as May 2026 graduates. International students may also apply. If selected, international students must provide an I-20 form with CPT or OPT authorization before the internship begins. Recent policy changes may require CPT-eligible internships to be an explicit curricular requirement of the student's degree program, so please confirm eligibility with your institution before applying.
