Corporate Strategy Manager Internship

Cummins has been an industry leader in the power space for decades, but our industry is changing. Many of the things that have driven success in the past will not be the same things that drive success in the future as the world navigates evolving energy systems, changing customer needs, digital transformation, geopolitical uncertainty, and rapid technological innovation.

If you join Cummins' Corporate Strategy team, you will be at the forefront of helping the company navigate this evolving landscape. As a Corporate Strategy Manager, you will work directly with senior leaders to develop recommendations on Cummins' most important strategic priorities and growth opportunities. You will have ownership initially over an individual workstream and eventually over entire projects, with multiple opportunities to directly present your recommendations to Cummins leaders.

Recent projects have included evaluating growth opportunities across existing and adjacent markets, assessing M&A and partnership opportunities, developing market-entry and technology strategies, evaluating geopolitical and supply chain risks, supporting product and platform strategy decisions, exploring digital and AI-enabled business opportunities, and shaping long-term corporate strategy. Corporate Strategy Managers work closely with leaders across product, engineering, commercial, operations, finance, and technology organizations to help guide enterprise decision-making.

You will be joining a highly diverse team of similarly driven problem-solvers in the context of an amazing corporate culture that provides a supportive environment and values your work-life balance. Our team heavily focuses on your personal and professional development to propel you to an exciting and fulfilling career at Cummins.
