Software Engineer Intern

This position allows the intern to get familiar with the design and technology used by Connectivity Engineering Group. Under supervision, the intern will complete a variety of task to provide support to the Connectivity group on software development and evaluation for new technologies for automotive and consumer prototype.

-       Learn to build and support mobile app and web app development.

-       Perform a variety of routine tasks related to software testing, prototype testing and integration on bench and in vehicle, evaluation of test results and writing test reports based on the direction of the assigning hardware or software engineer

-       Learn the technology used on the prototype being tested and developed.

-       Update, debug and add features to test application for module and system level testing.

-       Participate with research team in gathering information, benchmarking, and evaluating newer technologies or competitor products and demonstrate / report findings

-       Maintain the engineering lab while getting familiar to the different tools and components used, manage software license and development tools.

-       Learn prototype developing process and attend meetings.
