Project Execution Services

Vertiv is hiring a Project Execution Service intern in Westerville, OH who will primarily focus on energy storage, large projects, and deployment services initiatives to help improve efficiency and our ability to execute business. This office-based role will be involved in various initiatives from helping to create processes and procedures to integrating business data into a format for the business to measure how we are executing.

Responsibilities: 
  • Must be adaptable and flexible to work on multiple initiatives while working in a complex and changing environment.
  • Develop processes and procedures to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Provide updates to senior management and executive sponsors.
  • Assist with creating/ maintaining various reporting in PowerBi and Smartsheet with information fed from Oracle.
  • Participates in structured problem solving and issue resolution.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
  • Complete (1) small and (1) capstone project.  
 
Requirements:
  • 3rd or 4th year student majoring in business, mechanical or electrical engineering. 
  • Demonstrated strong dedication to teamwork and integrity within professional environment.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills.
  • Exercise independent judgment and discretion with ability to identify problems and make recommendations for resolution.
  • High degree of organizational skills and solid work ethic. 
  • Strong conceptual, analytical, and creative capabilities.
  • Affinity for data-driven and goal-oriented decision-making.
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills, with experience in multi-cultural environments.
  • Power BI and Smartsheet knowledge is a plus.
  • Oracle suite knowledge is a plus.
