Sales Analyst Intern (Summer 2024)

​The Intern Sales Analyst is responsible for supporting actionable and best-in-class reports and models to measurably improve the Sales force's effectiveness and overall outcomes. The individual works with business partners to provide consultative and direct support to assist the processes and methods to increase the effectiveness of analytics. The analyst will be part of a team which occupies a unique position with a focus on applying advanced analytics, reporting, and visualization to support the full sales network as an agile and innovative delivery powerhouse.​

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Responsible for designing and building data analysis, models and dashboards, including gathering and analyzing data accurately to identify trends and inform decisions on sales performance. 
  • Modify and document data sets, reports and analytics including internal and external sources using established development tools such as SQL and PowerBI
  • Work cross-functionally with operations and analytics teams to validate and support data accuracy. 
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS
  • ​​Actively pursuing Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Operations Research, Project Lifecycle Management, IT Systems, Statistics, Engineering or related technical field or combination of equivalent education and work experience.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal ​
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills ​
  • Detail-oriented 
  • Action-oriented and eager to drive for results
  • Be able to learn and pick up new skills and knowledge quickly
  • MS Office proficient; proficiency in Microsoft Excel preferred ​
  • Ability to work and multi-task in a fast-paced environment ​
  • SQL, Power BI or similar visualization tool preferred
  • Aptitude to learn data analysis and sales processes​
