Sales Intern- National Channel (Summer 2024)

The Sales Intern will be supporting national channel key accounts. Engaging in projects and hands on activity to drive Vertiv awareness within key accounts. This role provides reactive phone support, e-mail sales support, and will be included in proactive business development efforts to grow our channel business. 

Responsibilities
  • Act as a resource by providing exceptional customer service through answering questions and resolving issues.
  • Network with existing Key Account sales influencers to gain referrals to other sales representatives for that Key Account.
  • Make outbound calls to Key Account data base to encourage enrollment in the Partner Portal. Reach out to sales reps about expiring deal registrations.
  • Create proposals (quotes) in Oracle Sales Cloud CPQ and follow up with those opportunities.
  • Other duties as assigned


Qualifications
  • Proficient in spreadsheets, databases, MS Office
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, including the ability to balance multiple priorities. Excellent problem-solving skills and detail-oriented mindset 
  • A proven track record of working effectively in a team and implementing process solutions

Education
  • Pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or related field
