Sales Intern- Federal Accounts (Summer 2024)

The Sales Intern will be supporting Federal Accounts. Engaging in projects and hands on activity to drive Vertiv awareness within key accounts. This role provides reactive phone support, e-mail sales support, and will be included in proactive business development efforts to grow our business. 

Responsibilities
  • Develop reporting and communication schedule for Federal business with exposure to all Vertiv sales teams, with duties including but not limited to; Pipeline report, Sub Selling Motion Order report split by office, Marketing Leads, Channel claiming processes.
  • Assist in developing OCONUS (Outside the Continental United States) business processes.
  • Data gathering, data mining and analysis related to United States Federal Government purchasing data, Vertiv programs and sales support.
  • Assist with enhancing reporting, pipeline accuracy and tools.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Proficient in spreadsheets, databases, MS Office
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, including the ability to balance multiple priorities. Excellent problem-solving skills and detail-oriented mindset 
  • A proven track record of working effectively in a team and implementing process solutions
  • Motivated self-starter, with a high capacity for rapid learning and attention to detail

Education
  • Pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or related field
