Basic Purpose
Reporting to the Director of Sales, the Sales Intern position is a developmental role. This position is responsible for the support of and assistance to Project Leaders and / or
Directors in day to day project administrative and maintenance activities. The objective is to learn the fundamentals of the automotive industry and roles of Sales and Program
Management within the organization.

EDUCATION &/or EXPERIENCE:
Pursuing degree or recent graduate in Engineering, Business Administration or related field. Previous internship experience in Program Management, Engineering or related field preferred but not required


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist and support Project Leaders by providing administrative maintenance and
data input within the project timing plan
Track and monitor progress within the project timing plan and communicate
reminders of past due tasks which includes setting up reminders, scheduling team
meetings or conference calls, and escalating issues to Project Leader when required
Assist in tracking project team activities from manufacturing facilities to ensure
complete and timely accomplishment of functional tasks
Work with the project team to ensure sample parts are provided on time and meet
customer requirements
Help to identify and manage project risks
Monitor tooling pictures and evaluate and process tooling invoices
Attend and participate in various cross-functional meetings
Study and understand customer portals to better support each customer’s process
Other responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Sales or Vice President of
Program Management
