Intern, Partnerships & Resource Development, Global Immunization
Reports to: Senior Manager, Research & Technical Writing, Partnerships and Resource Development
Location: Remote Work (only in the following states: CO, DC, DE, FL, GA, IL, LA, NY, MA, MD, ME, MI, NC, NE, NH, NY, NJ, OH, OR, PA, RI, TX, VA, WA, WI)

Position Summary:
The Intern, Partnerships and Resource Development for Global Immunization will support a range of activities for the Global Immunization team. The ideal candidate is an impact-driven self-starter who is interested in building a career in global public health and immunization. Responsibilities:
- Support in research and development of potential partner and funding prospect profiles, including multilateral and bilateral donors, foundations, and public-private partnerships.
- Assist in landscaping opportunities and contacts, including new outreach for Global Immunization programs and partners.
- Support in development of business development materials, like external presentation decks and concept notes
- Support regular surveillance and monitoring of funding opportunities related to zero-dose programming, HPV vaccines and cervical cancer elimination, new vaccine preparedness and social behavior change.
- Participate in webinars related to Global Immunization’s programming; develop readouts to share with Sabin staff.
- Other administrative duties, as assigned
Requirements:
- Current enrolled college undergraduate or graduate student ( in public health, business development, or a related field
- Interest in public health, life sciences, vaccine science or a related field
- Interest or experience in partnerships, fundraising, business development a plus
- Excellent communications skills (listening, writing, speaking)
- Proficient in core Microsoft 365 applications, video conferencing (i.e., Zoom or Teams), Adobe Acrobat and conducting internet searches
- Close attention to detail, ability to manage complex tasks, highly organized, flexible, and able to prioritize to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and research skills
- Available to work between 18-24 hours per week during the Spring 2024 semester (January – May), with the possibility of continuing through the summer 2024 semester.
