
Accounting Intern
The Accounting Intern Role is responsible for learning basic accounting tasks and procedures and supporting the accounting team while maintaining the strict confidence of our client base. Hybrid work - some days on location, some remote - is possible after on location training period depending on needs and availability.
Full-Time offer may be extended after Internship period expires
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following as needed:
Auditing client ledgers for accuracy under the supervision of the Accounting Lead
Researching and creating reports to update client account statuses
Receiving and filing payments with the Accounts Receivable Lead
Receiving and filing invoices to be paid with the Accounts Payable Lead
Organizing and filing of accounting related paperwork to satisfy the record retention requirements of our business and clients
Aiding in the preparation of Tax Returns for Individuals, Businesses, and Trusts under the supervision of the Accounting Lead and CPA
Use QuickBooks Enterprise to update company banking information for all bills, invoices, and deposits
Requirements:
Pursuing a degree in Business (Accounting preferred but not required)
Basic Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
