Electrical Test/Evaluator Intern

What you will be doing:

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • System tester to serve as main engineering support with customer and Japanese product evaluation team; Function and black box testing and roading testing of infotainment system; evaluation radio products; track, investigate and solve engineering issues; evaluate /analyze / counter measure claims during development and production with Japan, customer, and plants for electronics software issues; create test case and test plans, provide customer plant fallouts for root cause from electrical perspective; create technical reports; prepare material and develop issue list for customer meeting; attend customer meeting; The tester will be participating in group evaluations of benchmarking and internal monitor vehicles; and assisting the evaluation team with research and documentation tasks.
  • Schedule would be 40 hrs./week.
  • Driving test will be required

Qualifications:

  • Must have an associate degree/some college in electronics/electrical engineering and good experience in automotive systems or electronics.
  • Understanding of black box testing, connected service, HF, BT, and cell phone connectivity is a plus.
  • Most importantly, the candidate must have a passion for audio, electronics, mechanical, hands-on experience with some form of car work (studio sound, live sound, car audio, home audio, etc.), and practical knowledge of automobiles.
