Human Resources Intern

The Human Resources Intern orientates all new employees, as well as assists Human

Resources Department with clerical / administrative responsibilities and HR projects

Responsibilities:

The main missions of the role are:

• Coordinates new-hire orientation: ensures new employees complete required forms,

shows required training videos, explains company policies and benefits

• Schedules employees for required and / or optional training

• Assists in maintaining Site organizational charts

• Establishes requisition files and maintains applicant data

• Tracks and monitors Intern, Co-op, and VIE activities

• Support recruitment process for hourly population following FES requirements.

• Maintains training records and conducts Quarterly Training Effectiveness report and

Training Synthesis

• Assist and coordinate special events

• Other duties and special projects assigned

• Maintains and updates personnel files

• Trains employees and managers, when necessary

• Performs general clerical duties: filing, tracking information, scheduling, etc.

• Other duties and special projects, as assigned

Others:

• Support commitments established in the ISO 14001 Environmental Policy.

• Follow requirements established in Spring Hill Plant ISO 14001 Environmental

Management System (EMS) procedures and work instructions.

• Ensure full respect of HSE rules and regulations.

• Assist with any additional tasks as assigned by the company.

• Support commitments established in the ISO 14001 Environmental Policy.

• Follow requirements established in Spring Hill Plant ISO 14001 Environmental

Management System (EMS) procedures and work instructions.

• Commitment to the highest ethical standards and willingness to adhere to Faurecia’s

Code of Ethics and Code of Management.

 

Position Specifications

Authorities:

• Recruitment of hourly positions.

• Termination of employment, for different reasons included but not limited to

performance, attachment to plant policies and rules.

• Enter updates/changes in the payroll systems only for Hourly employees.

Knowledge / Skills:

• Knowledge of basic Human Resources principles and concepts

• Good interpersonal and presentation skills

• Data entry skills

• Good computer skills, including Microsoft Suite (primarily Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)

• Excellent oral and written communication skills

Education / Experience:

• Previous internship experience in the industry is preferred

• Proficient level of English
