Position Overview: 
The News Editor Intern will play a crucial role in supporting our editorial team by assisting in the production and editing of high-quality news content. This internship offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the fast-paced world of digital journalism.

Key Responsibilities:

- Edit and proofread news articles for clarity, accuracy, and adherence to Tunnel Vision Network's style guidelines.
- Collaborate with reporters and contributors to brainstorm and develop story ideas and angles.
- Conduct thorough research to verify facts and gather additional information for news pieces.
- Assist in managing the editorial calendar and coordinating the publication schedule.
- Monitor current events and trends to identify relevant news stories and topics for coverage.
- Participate in editorial meetings, providing input and feedback to enhance content quality.
- Support the team in upholding high journalistic standards and ethical practices.

Qualifications

- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Journalism, Communications, English, or a related field.
- Strong writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Familiarity with digital media, social media platforms, and content management systems.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- A genuine passion for news and storytelling, along with a desire to learn about the editorial process.
