Social Media Engagement Intern

The Social Media Marketing Intern is responsible for reading articles from the Content Team and creating social media posts with graphic designs for various social media platforms. The ideal candidate must have a general understanding of social media platforms and their relative functions, graphic design websites, calendar functions and important dates. This person must possess good interpersonal skills, coordination of dates, times, and holidays, adaptability to change, time management, organization, and establishing deadlines. They must be able to communicate verbally and through writing, think creatively to come up with designs, and think analytically about their relevant audience and capturing content. The ideal candidate will be empathetic, proactive, confident, self-accountable, and passionate about their craft.

Details: Internship is unpaid, remote, 15 hours weekly with flexible schedule and runs a minimum of 4 months to a maximum of 6 months. The marketing department will meet weekly on Monday from 6 pm - 7 pm PST. Intern students can earn work experience in a start-up and letters of recommendation upon completion.
