Marketing Internship - Summer
Position Overview
MayTech is seeking an individual that is ready to learn about digital marketing in the financial service industry. Under the guidance of the Director of Business Development, the intern will assist with the marketing plan, create content, and analyze digital data to draw key recommendations. The intern will also work with the research team to develop a clear understanding of the investment strategy so they can generate social media content. This internship will refine and develop key skills for future careers in marketing and the finance industry.
Looking for winter/spring interns and full time summer interns
Responsibilities
· Develop and maintain an understanding of MayTech’s investment strategy
· Assist the Business Development Director with the marketing plan
· Analyze digital data to draw key recommendations for website and social media optimization
· Research, create, and curate social media content
· Schedule, post, and engage with content across multiple platforms (i.e., LinkedIn, Twitter,
Facebook, company website)
· Ensure consistency across MayTech’s website and other social media platforms
Qualifications:
Candidates of various backgrounds and experiences will be considered. We prefer candidates who possess the following:
· Highly articulate and able to express thoughts concisely
· Excellent written communication and editing skills
· Some coursework and experience in digital/social media marketing
· Excellent attention to details
