Tik Tok Social Media Manager(15-20 hours/week part time)

Role Description

This is a part-time remote role for a TikTok Social Media Manager(20 hours per week). The ideal candidate will be a highly skilled individual in creating engaging and trendy short-form video content, with a proven track record of growing TikTok accounts (or similar platforms like YouTube Shorts and Instagram Reels) from the ground up. This role requires proficiency in video editing and English, a deep understanding of social media algorithms, and the ability to stay ahead of digital trends.

 

This role will work directly with the CEO to build out the social media org of the company!

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Creation: Develop, film, and edit short-form video content for our TikTok account, utilizing tools such as CapCut and other video editing software to produce high-quality, engaging videos.
  • Strategy Development: Create and implement a growth strategy for TikTok, focusing on increasing follower count, engagement rates, and overall brand visibility.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Monitor performance metrics to understand the effectiveness of content strategies, making data-driven decisions to optimize future content.
  • Trend Analysis: Stay informed about current trends on TikTok and other social media platforms, incorporating relevant trends into content creation to increase viewer engagement and account growth.
  • Community Engagement: Actively engage with followers and the TikTok community to foster a positive brand image, respond to comments, and manage direct messages.

 

Qualifications:

  • Proven Experience: Demonstrable experience growing TikTok, YouTube Shorts, or Instagram Reels accounts from 0 to 10K followers or have at least 5 videos with more than 50K views. Experience can be with a company or a personal account. Please only apply if you have done that in the past.
  • Savvy with Gen Z, most ideally you are Gen Z yourself 😏
  • Video Editing Skills: Proficiency in CapCut and familiarity with other video editing tools. A portfolio of previous work is highly desirable. Savvy with the latest AI-based solutions.
  • Understanding of Social Media Algorithms: Knowledgeable about the latest TikTok algorithm, trends, and best practices for maximizing content visibility and engagement.
  • Creativity and Innovation: Ability to create original, eye-catching content that resonates with our target audience.
  • Fluency in English
