Strategy & Marketing Intern (Summer 2024)

Schneider Electric has an opportunity for a Summer 2024 Digital Buildings Strategy & Marketing Intern in our Boston, MA location (option to work from Andover, MA and remote some of the time). 

As a fresh business student, you have a challenging as well as exciting opportunity to leverage your analytical and interpersonal skills to contribute towards making a real business impact in a dynamic industry.

Digital Buildings is the largest Line of Business within Schneider Electric’s Digital Energy division, providing commercial buildings with systems, software and services for better operation, optimization, management, and control that enable sustainability, energy savings and costs savings. 

What will you do?

  • Analyze business and industry data to generate insights to lead or support strategic missions
  • Synthesize industry reports and competitive landscape to summarize key trends
  • Conduct personal or phone interviews with stakeholders based globally and summarize interview findings
  • Build-up on the analysis and interviews data to actively contribute towards formulating strategic initiatives to grow the business topline and bottom-line  
  • Support work with product data sets to bring visibility and accuracy of product data to our commercial teams in the Digital Buildings Line of Business
  • Support marketing activities to generate product assets (presentations product briefs, etc.), communicate in social media, and support product launch process
  • Coordinate marketing with multiple stakeholders; including offer managers and creative agencies

What qualifications will make you successful? 

  • Current undergraduate or graduate student of business, marketing, communications/english, engineering or a related field.
  • You have a flair for digital technologies
  • Previous job experience in a business, marketing, finance or engineering roles (e.g. start-up, sales, marketing etc.)
  • Analytical and organizational skills 
  • Fluent in English – mother tongue level
  • Great communication (speaking and writing) skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PPT and Excel 
  • Exposure to building automation and sustainability industry is a plus
