2024 Spring/Summer Private Equity Analyst Internship
K2 Growth Partners ("K2GP") is looking for an entrepreneurial and dynamic individual interested in learning private equity, executing a start-up, and building a business. K2GP is an emerging private equity firm backed by a team with two decades of experience within the industry. K2GP intends to invest in and grow small to medium-sized businesses across the United States within various industries, including manufacturing, business services, distribution, and others.
A Private Equity Analyst Intern with K2GP will support a wide range of activities associated with the firm, providing that individual with a unique opportunity to learn a substantial amount about the business. They will specifically help support investment sourcing and origination, business development, financial modeling and analysis, industry research, and other tasks associated with launching and growing a business.
Ideal candidates:
- Will be in their Sophomore, Junior, or Senior terms in Fall 2024
- Are preferably majoring in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Marketing, or another Business field (although this isn't a requirement)
- Have a basic understanding of accounting and financial statement analysis
- Preferably have completed one or more applicable internships (although not required)
- Are proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and familiar with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software
This is a part-time, remote or hybrid position with opportunities for an expanded role over time. Students may receive course credit for the internship. Students seeking this option should inquire with their academic advisor.
