BDR Intern

Job Scope:

Utilize a consistent contact attempt process via phone, email, LinkedIn, and chat to follow-up, nurture and qualify leads generated by marketing campaigns.

Prospect, educate and qualify leads to create sales-ready opportunities.

Keep abreast of the industry and technologies to ensure you are a trusted resource to prospects and customers.

Follow the established RingCentral pre-sales process and consistently use Salesforce.com to document prospect interaction, ensuring efficient lead management.

Develop and maintain daily plans to maximize phone time, including pre-call planning, adhering to metrics and customizing scripts to market segments and prospect type. 

 

Qualifications:

Must be a current student at junior or senior level standing pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business or a related field

Strong ability to learn new technology and ramp-up quickly

Ability to work in high-energy sales team environment as a team player

Positive and energetic phone skills, excellent listening skills and strong writing skills

Quick and efficient with a computer (SFDC experience preferred)

Ability to establish rapport quickly and effectively with C-Level execs

Self-starters who are results-oriented, resourceful, analytical, innovative, and intellectually curious

Quick learner who thrives in a high-energy, fast paced environment

Ability to adapt to change and willingness to learn

Proficient in Microsoft office tools/programs, Google suite

 

Learning Skills/Outcomes:

Exposure to the lead qualification process

Gain real experience collaborating with customers, sales representatives, account executives, and leadership

Knowledge of tools used by sales team - Salesforce, LinkedIn, Outreach, Tech Target and ZoomInfo

Understanding of the competitive landscape of UCaaS industry 

  

Availability:

Full-time [40 hours per week, 10 week internship]

Must be available to start June 3, 2024

Must be available to work on a hybrid schedule (3 days in office per week) in our Dallas, TX or Denver, CO office

If you are hired in Colorado, California, Nevada, New York, Maryland, Washington, Connecticut, or Rhode Island, the hourly rate of compensation ranges between $28.00 and $30.00 per hour for contract employees. This rate may vary depending on your location, skills, and experience.
