Educate WNY Internship Program

Organization Overview:
Educate WNY is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing quality tutoring and educational support to students across Western New York. Our mission is to empower students to achieve academic success and unlock their full potential, regardless of socio-economic background.

Internship Program Overview:
The Educate WNY Internship Program offers motivated individuals the opportunity to explore various roles within our organization, including fundraising, event planning, volunteer coordination, marketing, and more. Interns will gain hands-on experience, develop valuable skills, and contribute to our mission of educational equity.

Available Positions:

Intern Fundraising Coordinator:

Assist in planning and implementing fundraising campaigns and events.
Research potential donors and sponsors, and assist in donor outreach.
Assist in donor stewardship activities, including thank-you letters and recognition efforts.
Help maintain donor databases and records.


Intern Event Coordinator:

Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing events to promote our tutoring programs and engage the community.
Support logistics coordination, venue selection, vendor management, and budget tracking.
Assist with event marketing and promotional efforts.
Provide on-site support during events, including setup, registration, and coordination of activities.


Intern Volunteer Coordinator:

Assist in recruiting, screening, and training volunteers to support tutoring programs and organizational activities.
Coordinate volunteer schedules, assignments, and communications.
Provide ongoing support and recognition to volunteers.
Assist in evaluating volunteer performance and satisfaction.


Intern Marketing Assistant:

Assist in developing and implementing marketing strategies to raise awareness of our programs and services.
Support social media management, content creation, and email marketing campaigns.
Assist in creating marketing materials, including flyers, brochures, and presentations.
Conduct market research and analyze data to inform marketing decisions.


Qualifications:

Currently enrolled in a college or university program, preferably with a focus on nonprofit management, marketing, communications, business, or related field.
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with social media platforms.
Passion for education and a commitment to the mission of Educate WNY.
