Operations Specialist Intern
Webasto Roof Systems, Inc. is currently recruiting for an Operations Specialist Intern located at their New Hudson, Michigan facility.
Operations Specialist Intern will help supervise and improve production throughout the plants or factories by supporting engineering teams, drafting safety protocols, reporting issues to management, and creating strategies that will enhance efficiency and profits.
The OS intern key responsibilities are as follows:
- Assist in the management of documentation.
- Collect and analyze operational data to drive productivity.
- Support the Plant management team on Data accuracy and Data driven decision making.
- Work on Data visualization and Data input for the production team.
- Work on continuous improvement activities that help to improve the current operation processes and systems.
- Actively participate in group meeting discussions and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with colleagues whenever possible to achieve both operational and project goals.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in a technical field, preferably in science or engineering.
- An excellent team player who can readily take on responsibilities and work independently.
- Strong interest in working in an engineering and operational environment.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills
- Have a positive, proactive, can-do attitude.
- Keen to learn.
