SCM Intern
This internship will provide valuable hands on experience in Supply Chain Management within the automotive industry, offering opportunities to learn and contribute to the success of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in monitoring and managing inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels for production needs.
- Process purchase orders and track order status to ensure timely delivery of materials and parts
- Collaborate with suppliers to coordinate deliveries, resolve issues and ensure adherence to quality and delivery standards
- Analyze data to identify trend, forecast demand and optimize inventory levels
- Assist with material planning requirements
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute ideas to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, etc to support overall department goals
- Prepare reports and communication as requested
Qualifications:
- Pursuing Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management or related field required.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), SAP
- Excellent Verbal and written communication skills
- Effectively utilizes time and organizes priorities well
- 3.0 GPA or higher
