HR Intern

Our HR team is expanding and looking to add an HR Intern. We are looking for a dynamic and driven candidate who is interested in joining a fast-growing global company in the automotive sector.


 

The HR Intern Admin is responsible for providing HR support to employees. This position is responsible for supporting the business goals and objectives aligned with the organization's strategies. This position leads HR and Operation teams in administering policies, programs and practices.  This role will also provide general administrative duties with an emphasis on human resources projects including, but not limited to, maintaining electronic filing systems, onboarding, etc. The ideal candidate will be able to support organizational growth, employee development and a positive culture. Other duties include:


 

  • Maintains human resource information system records and compiles reports from the database confidentially, timely and accurately
  • Analyzing reports on workforce data including, headcount, turnover, labor statistics etc. weekly, monthly and annually
  • Conducts new hire orientation, and other training sessions as needed
  • Assists with writing communications and policies ensuring thorough familiarity and that they are interpreted fairly and applied consistently
  • Assists with maintaining and coordinates company housing for international assignees
  • Ensures all regulatory compliance reporting is complete and submitted as appropriate
  • Devises programs for operational improvement (i.e., recognition, morale, engagement)
  • Conducts exit interviews and paperwork is completed for departing employees
  • Assists with the facilitation of the annual processes including, performance management, salary adjustment, promotional review
  • Creates, distributes and analyzes employee survey data and recommends solutions in areas of need General human resource related functions such as policy monitoring, preforming job analysis, writing job descriptions


 

     To qualify for this role you must meet the following:


 

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in Human Resources Management or equivalent experience
  • 1 year of human resources experience preferred
  • Understanding of labor laws and regulations
  • Experience working with highly confidential information while maintain discretion
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and One Note
  • Knowledge working with ADP, Success Factors and PeopleSoft, Plex
  • Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, both oral and written
  • Must be a team-oriented professional who can handle multiple projects in a fast paced environment
  • Highly detail-oriented with the ability handle shifting deadlines and priorities
  • High level of commitment, sound judgment, great follow-through, and initiative
  • Uphold all company policies required to provide top quality service to external customers
  • A demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment, to be proactive, to work independently of day-to-day supervision
