Nutrition 2500 Grader

Health Sciences is hiring graders for the Fall 2024 and Winter 2025 academic semesters. Graders are responsible for grading and providing feedback on assignments in all sections of NTR 2500 Human Nutrition and Health, under the guidance of the professor (Sarah (Allen) Martin in 2024-2025). They will also assist in other course related tasks, such as uploading grades and assisting with exams. Qualified candidates will have superior computer and typing skills and have familiarity with Moodle. Necessary characteristics also include the ability to work independently, to have excellent attention to detail, to communication directly and clearly with the course professor(s), and to use astute critical thinking skills, particularly in the areas of nutrition and dietary intake. This is a great position for students thinking of attending graduate school in health sciences or with an interest in health education.

Candidates must have completed NTR 2500 with a grade of B or better (3.0 or above). Candidates will be expected to work approximately 10-15 hours a few weeks (not all) during the Fall and winer semester and attend 3-4 meetings per semester with the NTR2500 professor. Hours are flexible, and the candidate arranges a regular schedule with Professor Martin based on his/her availability. Students will work remotely on their own computer, but will be provided with training and access to all necessary materials.
