Instructional Gymnastics Program Director
INSTRUCTIONAL GYMNASTICS PROGRAM DIRECTOR
Viking Gymnastics & Dance is looking for a kind and reliable individual who wants to make a positive impact while leading our instructional gymnastics program. Our instructional gymnastics program has over 1600 weekly students. The Instructional Gymnastics Leader will have an active role in the gym. This full-time position will include at least three evening shifts per week, as well as fifty percent weekend shifts within the month.
Description of Duties:
- Leads instructional gymnastics staff and oversees schedules
- Maintain curriculum and lesson plans
- Identify staff training needs and offer continuing education opportunities
- Ensure positive family experiences
- Collaborate with gymnastics leadership, attend meetings, and lead instructional gymnastics meeting
- Organize house competitions and clinics
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience leading a gymnastics gym or large gymnastics program
- Knowledgeable in gymnastics skill progressions, safety, and up-to-date on current best practices
- Competitive coaching experience preferred
- Professional, respectful, and compassionate
- Strong organizational skills
- Passion for working with children in ways that build confidence
- Bachelor's in Physical Education or Sports Management is a big plus
