Corporate Engagement Intern

Assists the Corporate and Engagement teams with tasks related to local cause marketing, Children's Miracle Network (CMN) campaigns, Children's annual corporate events, and other initiatives in the department. The position reports to the Director of Corporate Engagement, on a daily basis, is supervised by the Corporate Engagement Coordinator.

Working toward a degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Business Administration or related field at an accredited college or university. 
Effective oral and written communication skills. 
Experience in the use of Microsoft Office products. 
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. 
Analytical skills necessary to effectively work through assigned tasks. 
Ability to commute to the corporate office and drive to site visits. 
Ability to work on a part-time schedule through the academic year. 
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. 

Essential Job Functions:

Exhibits guiding behaviors that reflect Children’s values and support our mission and vision. 
Supports cultivation and stewardship activities via phone calls, emails and store visits with CMN and local cause marketing partners. 
Assists with cultivation events and activities for corporate and CMN partners and programs. 
Prepares stewardship elements including, but not limited to, check presentation preparation, recognition pieces, newsletter communications and thank you letters/cards. 
Drafts written communications and prepares mailings for corporate, CMN and local cause partner locations. 
Assist with corporate sponsorships, including recap reports, sponsorship research, and sponsorship tracking. 
Captures meeting notes and updates records in Raiser’s Edge
Performs other duties as assigned.
