Environmental Health & Safety Intern

As an Environmental Health and Safety Intern at Hutchinson you will:

- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential safety hazards and environmental risks
- Analyze data to assess environmental performance and identify areas for improvement
- Assist in the development and implementation of safety training programs for employees
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to investigate incidents and recommend corrective actions
- Support environmental compliance efforts by assisting with permit applications and tracking regulatory requirements
- Participate in sustainability initiatives such as waste reduction programs and energy conservation efforts
- Contribute to the development of emergency response plans and participate in safety meetings
- Assist in the creation of documentation including safety manuals and standard operating procedures
