Finance Intern
We are looking for a driven Finance Intern with a basic understanding of IFRS and financial principles and terms who is ready for an immersive, real-world experience. Under the supervision of our staff, the Finance Intern can expect to participate in the preparation of financial reports, analyze actual financial data, be involved in forecasting and budgeting processes, prepare financial presentations for senior leadership, learn more about ERP & Consolidation software, and assist with other finance activities.
Finance Intern Responsibilities:
· Shadowing members of the Finance department as they perform their duties.
· Compiling and analyzing financial information for presentation to senior leadership.
· Assisting with the preparation of monthly forecast and annual budget.
· Assisting with research, filing, data entry, and recording and maintaining accurate and complete financial records.
· Working with ERP software & Consolidation software.
· Support the financial audit by gaining a deep understanding of the order to cash process and utilizing organizational skills and interaction with different departments and countries.
· Handling sensitive or confidential information with honesty and integrity.
· Learning how to work as part of the Controlling team to compile and analyze data, track information, and support the company.
· Taking on additional tasks or projects to learn more about accounting and office operations.
Finance Intern Requirements:
· Must be a currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program
· Satisfactory completion of introductory accounting courses and a basic understanding of accounting and financial principles.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills.
· Strong understanding of Excel
· High level of efficiency, accuracy, and responsibility.
· Motivation and strong desire to take on new challenges and learn as much as possible.
