Job Description:

As a DevOps Engineer at [Company Name], you will play a crucial role in enhancing our development and deployment processes, ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our infrastructure. You will collaborate closely with development, operations, and QA teams to automate workflows, optimize systems, and streamline deployments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in DevOps methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud technologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and deployment of applications.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and orchestration using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or similar technologies.
  • Manage and monitor cloud infrastructure on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
  • Implement and maintain containerization solutions with Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to infrastructure, deployments, and performance, and implement effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Implement and enforce best practices for security, compliance, and disaster recovery.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in DevOps and cloud computing, and propose improvements to enhance our processes and systems.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 4-5 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Ruby.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI.
  • Strong understanding of containerization technologies like Docker and container orchestration with Kubernetes.
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
  • Deep understanding of cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts, security best practices, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
