Human Resources Intern/Volunteer

Position Overview:
Are you pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or a related field? Do you want hands-on experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, and HR operations? Join us as an HR Intern/Volunteer and help build a talented, diverse workforce aligned with our mission. As a key team member, you will gain valuable experience shaping the future of education while developing your HR skills.

This role begins as an intern/volunteer position, with the potential to move into part-time or full-time employment after graduation. We prioritize your education and will ensure you can focus on your studies while gaining meaningful experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Craft compelling job descriptions to attract a diverse range of candidates.
  • Screen resumes, conduct interviews, and assess candidates’ qualifications, skills, and cultural fit with our organization.
  • Assist with the onboarding process to ensure a smooth transition for new hires and a positive experience for all team members.
  • Collaborate with senior HR professionals to support recruitment, employee relations, and talent management initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, Communications, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment, talent acquisition, and basic human resources principles.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with the ability to engage with candidates and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Passionate about education and committed to making a difference in the lives of children.
  • Optional but valued: Familiarity with HR certifications such as SHRM-CP or PHR (Professional in Human Resources) is a plus.
