Business Intelligence/ Data Intergration Intern

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Assist in the development and maintenance of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to integrate data from various sources into SQL Server and other relevant systems. 
• Collaborate with team members to design and implement data models and databases for efficient storage and retrieval of business data. 
• Support the configuration and administration of data integration tools such as Pentaho and Run Deck. 
• Assist in the creation and maintenance of reports and dashboards using Microsoft SSRS, Power BI, and other reporting tools. 
• Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies that can provide valuable insights to stakeholders. 

EDUCATION REQUIREMENT(S): 

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field. 
• Strong academic background in database management, data warehousing, and business intelligence concepts. 

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT(S): 

• Proficiency in SQL programming and relational database concepts, preferably with experience in SQL Server. 
• Familiarity with data integration tools such as Pentaho and Run Deck is a plus. 
• Basic understanding of ERP systems, particularly JD Edwards, would be advantageous. 
• Experience with reporting and visualization tools like Microsoft SSRS and Power BI is desirable. 
• Previous internship or coursework involving data analysis, ETL processes, or business intelligence projects is a plus.
