Oakland University Student Congress - Legislator

You must be voted into the OUSC Legislature during an election or by the Congress before applying for this role. Reach out to ousc@oakland.edu to start the process of becoming a legislator if you are interested. 

Legislators are expected to initiate proposals or make recommendations on all matters relevant to the general welfare of the student body and University, recommend University policy in areas of concern to students as well as communicate information regarding University policies to students, pass resolutions to comment on any actions and issues that affect academic and student life concerns, and conduct business in accordance with the regulations, procedures, and duties outlined in this Constitution, the University Student Congress Bylaws, and Oath of Office.
