Software Engineering Intern

Lacks Enterprises is seeking to add a Software Engineering Intern to our team for the summer.

For over 50 years, Lacks Enterprises has been a privately held world leader in the automotive decorative trim business. With over 20 facilities and 2500 employees in West Michigan we continue to grow.  Our Internship program is designed to provide a hands-on learning experience to undergraduate students looking to gain more exposure in their area of study outside the classroom. Responsibilities/Qualifications:

• C#, Progress 4GL, and/or SQL programming of business applications including shop floor workstations, quality management programs, accounting utilities, etc.…
• Experience with Visual Studio, C#, Progress 4GL, HTML5 and/or SQL concepts preferred
• Capable of reviewing, testing, debugging, and compiling programs
• Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s Degree program in Computer Science or related field
• Must have three semesters of Computer Science courses completed 
• Junior year standing or prior software programming internship experience preferred
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written skills and the ability to work effectively with others
• Ability to seek and take direction
• Ability to interact with business users in a structured environment to practice business analyst capabilities
• This is an onsite position working 40 hours a week
