Publicist Intern

Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Publicist Intern to join our team. This internship offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in public relations and kommunications within the entertainment industry. The Publicist Intern will work closely with our publicity team to support the planning, execution, and evaluation of publicity campaigns for Bad Kids Korporation and our artists.

Some Responsibilities (included but not limited to):

- Assist in the development and implementation of publicity strategies and campaigns to promote Bad Kids Korporation and our artists across various media channels.
- Research media outlets, journalists, bloggers, and influencers to identify opportunities for press coverage and publicity placements.
- Draft press releases, media pitches, bios, and other press materials to effectively communicate key messages and story angles.
- Coordinate press interviews, appearances, and events, including scheduling, logistics, and media outreach.
- Monitor media coverage and compile press clippings and media reports for internal review and analysis.
- Maintain press contact lists, databases, and archives to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
- Provide administrative support to the publicity team, including scheduling meetings, organizing files, and managing correspondence.

Qualifications:

- Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of a communications, public relations, marketing, or related program. 1 or more years of work experience is acceptable as well.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling press materials and pitches.
- Excellent research skills, with the ability to identify media opportunities and trends in the entertainment industry.
- Knowledge of media relations best practices, including pitching, follow-up, and relationship building.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing tools is a plus.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Passion for music, entertainment, and pop culture is preferred.
- Some travel may be required.
