The Oakland Post - Arts Reporter

Write at least two arts related stories per week and turn them in on time.  

Research current events relating to the arts — including music, film, fashion, pop culture and more — on campus as well as around the world. 

Reach out to the photography and/or design team for visuals to accompany stories. 

Communicate effectively with your section editor. 

Attend weekly budget meetings and pitch story ideas.  

Basic knowledge of AP style preferred.
