Title: Software Engineer
Location: IL (Chicago), TX (Dallas/San Antonio), CT (Hartford), OH (Columbus)
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement software applications and systems.
- Utilize various technical skills like Java/J2EE, Scala, Spark, Spring framework, JavaScript, WebLogic, Tomcat, Kafka, AWS, and Linux to develop software solutions.
- Utilize Jenkins and uDeploy for software deployment.
- Oversee all stages of the development process from analysis to implementation.
- Assist business users with application usage and operational issues.
- Analyze data for software improvement and updates.
- Establish and implement new or updated application systems to meet business needs.
- Analyze complex issues and evaluate processes for informed decisions.
- Collaborate with users, clients, and engineers on issues and provide advanced solutions.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or other related fields.
- Basic knowledge and understanding of Microservice Architecture, Containerization and Orchestration
- Understanding of Agile, Helm, Jenkins, Bitbucket, Gradle, Maven, MQ, and Kafka
- Experience with and knowledge in Linux and Bash and basic scripting like Unix.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
