AmeriCorps Outreach Coordinator and Program Assistant
Position 1: Chippewa Valley Museums' full-time AmeriCorps Program Assistant will be responsible for strengthening the museum's volunteer program and providing opportunities for youth through seniors to develop community bonds and engage in community life through volunteerism and museum programs. Specifically, this member will work with staff to recruit new volunteers, develop methods to increase volunteer retention and satisfaction, share internship opportunities, and support biking/walking tours.
Position 2: Chippewa Valley Museum is recruiting a half-time AmeriCorps Member to serve as an Outreach Coordinator whose primary responsibilities would be to bring the museum and lifelong learning materials out into the community. This includes participating in community events and developing and delivering programs off-site to senior and youth audiences.
