Repair/Final Check Internship
Marposs Group is a global leader in providing measurement, inspection, and testing cutting-edge solutions for quality and process control in the workshop environment, serving all major automotive and machine tools manufacturers and the aerospace, biomedical, electronics, energy, glass containers, and white goods sectors.
Responsibilities:
- Receive non-functioning parts from customers and use electromechanical skills to get the product working again
- Maintain accurate documentation by completing Internal Repair Tickets (RT), documenting charges for invoicing, and providing customers with clear data on specifications, model numbers, and itemized charges.
- Support occasional technical research
- Assist Field Service Engineers with problems, and potentially travel to customer locations to perform repairs or diagnose electrical/mechanical issues as needed.
- Perform repeatability tests on products
- Confirm the measurements of gauging systems per customer parameters
- Read blueprints to review products
Skills/Requirements:
- No previous experience required.
- Junior or Senior college standing working towards a degree in Engineering OR Related Field
