Sales Intern

Elektrobit (EB), www.elektrobit.com, has a position open for a Sales Intern to be a part of its automotive software business in the USA. This is a position available at our office in Plymouth, MI.
 

We are looking for highly motivated candidates with an interest in learning about autonomous driving, cybersecurity, infotainment systems and software defined vehicles. Qualified candidates should be comfortable in public speaking and connecting with new contacts. The ideal candidate should enjoy working in a fast-paced, highly dynamic environment where creative thinking, problem solving, analysis, efficiency, autonomy, and initiative are required. The successful candidate should be a team-player, excellent communicator and be able to multitask while maintaining a high regard for the details. Adaptability and positivity are key qualities to be successful in this role.

 

Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without Elektrobit visa sponsorship.


Responsibilities

Support Inside sales: complete market research on LinkedIn; prepare reports and analysis based upon research, input data into Salesforce, may contact potential customers or send inMails.
Support local marketing events.
Special projects upon request.
Working schedule would be full time during the summer and potential to work part-time during the school year.
Must be available to work in the office with some flexibility to work from home.
 

Required Skills and Qualifications

Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business administration or equivalent.
Prior internship or work experience in a business environment is a plus.
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Detail oriented and ability to be thorough and follow through on all tasks.
Must be organized in a highly multitasked environment.
Experience working in team projects.
Leadership experience is a plus.
Professional when representing the company to internal as well as external customers.
Must possess good business acumen.
Able to work independently and be a self-starter.
Be proactive.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
