Role:

As a DevOps Engineer Intern, you will manage the deployment, monitoring, and scaling of The SoundTrek platform. You will work closely with our development team to ensure a seamless and efficient deployment process, implement best practices for monitoring and scaling, and contribute to the overall success of our platform.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage and automate the deployment process using CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Travis CI).
- Monitor the platform’s performance and ensure high availability and scalability.
- Implement containerization and orchestration solutions (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) for efficient resource management.
- Utilize infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) to manage and provision infrastructure.
- Apply network and security best practices to ensure a secure and robust platform.
- Collaborate with the development team to troubleshoot issues and optimize the deployment process.

Skillsets:

- Cloud Platforms: Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
- CI/CD Pipelines: Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, Travis CI).
- Containerization: Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Infrastructure as Code: Understanding of infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
- Network and Security: Strong background in network and security best practices.

Qualifications:

- Currently enrolled in a collegiate program in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of DevOps principles and practices.
- Eagerness to learn and apply new technologies and tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
