Role:

As a QA Tester Intern, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of The SoundTrek platform. You will be responsible for testing the platform for bugs, usability issues, and performance bottlenecks. Your contributions will help maintain a seamless user experience and ensure the platform meets the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform manual testing to identify bugs, usability issues, and performance bottlenecks.
- Utilize automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, Mocha) to create and execute test scripts.
- Conduct cross-browser and cross-device testing to ensure compatibility and responsiveness.
- Write detailed and clear bug reports, including steps to reproduce and expected vs. actual results.
- Collaborate with the development team to troubleshoot issues and verify fixes.
- Participate in test planning and design, contributing to the creation of test cases and scenarios.

Skillsets:

- Manual and Automated Testing: Experience with both manual and automated testing practices.
- Testing Frameworks and Tools: Knowledge of testing frameworks and tools such as Selenium, JUnit, and Mocha.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Bug Reporting: Ability to write detailed and clear bug reports.
- Cross-Browser and Cross-Device Testing: Understanding of cross-browser and cross-device testing methodologies.

Qualifications:

- Currently enrolled in a collegiate program in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of QA principles and practices.
- Eagerness to learn and apply new testing tools and methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
