Marketing Internship
GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITY:
The Marketing Coord is an essential part of the sales and marketing team and will be provide key support for the continued development of the Lippmann Milwaukee Brand and new product launch in a well-established business. They will be responsible for a combination of demand response, demand management and demand creation.
Training will be provided for ideal candidates and the Marketing Coord will serve as an essential part of the existing team. They will own the new customer management information and be responsible for updating the department’s marketing platforms and preparation for upcoming shows.
SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Undertaking daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the department’s activities.
- Work with international sales development and marketing team in organizing various projects, identification of key market targets and conduct research.
- Organize and co-ordinate all marketing events i.e. Open Days, Trade Shows, Exhibitions and Customer visits.
- Liaising with, and answering enquiries from media, individuals and other organizations, daily via telephone and email.
- Collating and analyzing media coverage.
- Preparing and supervising the production of promotional brochures, flyers, promotional videos, photographs, films and multimedia programs.
- Source and produce engaging content to ensure website and social media channels are up to date, relevant and interesting.
- Work with colleagues, to help plan and implement online marketing campaigns that drive engagement, traffic and bookings across social media, search engine optimization.
- Liaise with graphic and website designers.
- Help with presentations by assembling videos, slideshows and analyses of competitors.
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
The successful applicant will be currently undertaking or recently completed a Degree in Marketing or relevant subject, strong working knowledge in Digital Marketing, work in a fast-paced environment, as well as:
- Reliable, confident, and articulate.
- Desire to progress within the organization.
- Outstanding communication required with excellent written and verbal skills.
- Highly Competitive & strong work ethic.
- Proven experience as a marketing assistant.
- Good understanding of office and marketing principles.
- Demonstrable ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines.
- Well-organized with a customer-oriented approach.
- Ability to make a high volume of outbound calls and interact with VP level executives.
- Experience using Marketing CRM tools & customer direct tailored marketing approach essential.
