Project Manager Intern

Flowserve is looking for Project Manager Intern to join the Project Management team for part-time work throughout the year. The ideal candidate will be within their 3rd or 4th year of education and have some experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting.

The Project Manager Intern helps to ensure that Flowserve meets our commitments on complex orders related to new units, repairs, and upgrades for Compressor Seals and Systems.  Our customers are in the Oil & Gas, Chemical, Pharmaceutical, Municipal water/wastewater, and Power industries. Responsibilities:

Reviews contract documentation and make sure it reflects what has been negotiated and ensure successful execution throughout the project lifecycle

Assists the project team to develop the scope of supply, to translate work breakdown structure into an activity-based schedule and to identify the critical path

Attends project review meetings and collaborates with all disciplines during the project, including engineering, operations, and sales, to ensure that Flowserve delivers on-time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Assist with compiling weekly and month project reports

Qualifications:

Enrolled in undergraduate degree program in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering

Skilled user of Microsoft Office programs with knowledge of Microsoft Projects

Show high attention to detail and possess good organizational skills

Promoting of a trusting team atmosphere and group collaboration

Demonstrate a desire for personal growth and career development
