Marketing Intern

Marketing Intern 

Remote Position - College Credit

Time Commitment: 6-9 Months | 6-8 hours/week (Seasonal/Temporary) Flexible schedule based on school requirements.

General Description:

The Seasonal Marketing Intern will be responsible for facilitating outreach and raising awareness of Digital4Good’s programs. The ideal candidate must be familiar with creating and posting content to top social media sites, including Facebook (Meta), Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. Following the completion of the 6-month internship term, the Seasonal Marketing Intern will be eligible for advancement to the role of Seasonal Marketing Team Lead Intern (subject to Marketing Manager’s discretion).

Duties:

  • Develop and schedule content for publication to Digital4Good’s social media platforms
  • Track social analytics for performance
  • Promote and emcee monthly Students4Good webinars
  • Develop innovative strategies to boost engagement on all platforms
  • Manage external relations with Digital4Good Ambassadors and Partner Companies
  • Maintain clear communication with team members on status of assigned project(s) through weekly meetings with the team and supervisor
  • Attend quarterly Advisory Steering Committee
  • Additional Duties, if promoted to Seasonal Marketing Team Lead Intern: Coordinate and set dates for monthly campaigns; oversee all Seasonal Marketing Team work and due dates; plan and organize quarterly Marketing + PR Steering Committee Meeting

    • Develop a month-long social media campaign

  • Access to ClickUp (virtual project management platform), Canva for Teams, and Intern Work Google Shared Drive
  • Mentoring and networking opportunities with marketing professionals

Evaluation:

  • Marketing: Consistently publish content to social media platforms according to Monthly Marketing Calendar; increase engagement by 35% from the previous month
  • Events Marketing: Emcee at least 1 Students4Good webinar; increase webinar signups by 25% from the previous month
  • Commitment: Participate in weekly meetings and check-ins (Minimum of 75% attendance)
  • Timeliness and Organization: Track projects and meet all deadlines, or communicate with supervisor before setting new deadlines
  • Brand Integrity: Maintain organization’s brand consistency by using brand voice and designated assets in public-facing communications
  • Engagement: Accumulate points for engaging with organizational social media pages, attending workshops, attending work events, participating in marketing video/photo, filling out survey, and finishing a project/campaign
