SECS Lab Assistant-OU-Stellantis Robotics Lab

The OU-Stellantis Robotics Lab serves as an active research center in various areas of controls and robotics. It is equipped with two state-of-the-art industrial-grade robotic cells, advanced control equipment, and advanced communication hardware to pursue advanced research in the simulation and testing of robotic control and communication schemes.

Description:

  • The Lab Assistant will work in the OU-Stellantis Robotics Lab.
  • Gain experience in the areas of robotics, networking, and/or controls.
  • Includes work in advanced manufacturing and with industrial-sized robots, collaborative robots, and automation equipment to gain real-world experience.
  • The position is 20 hrs/week and the student needs to commit to at least a year in this role.

Requirements:  

  • Open to all SECS undergraduate students at the Junior or Senior level
  • Strong Organizational Skills
  • Comfortable doing hands-on work using various tools
  • Strong interest in Controls and Advanced Manufacturing
