Machine Intelligence Data Analyst

As a Machine Intelligence Data Analyst you will have the opportunity to analyze performance and quality data, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and addressing optimization opportunities. Your contributions will have a direct impact on the business by  being instrumental in leveraging data analytics to drive improvements in machine performance and product quality. Additionally, you will play a key role in ensuring the functionality and reliability of the Forcam Manufacturing Execution System while serving as a resource for training and documentation. The team you will be working with is collaborative and innovative, and values challenging work and diversity of thought. 

So, what will you be doing as a Machine Intelligence Data Analyst?

  • Forcam Manufacturing Execution System Expertise:
    • Become an expert user of the Forcam system, mastering its functionalities and capabilities.
    • Develop an in-depth understanding of the structure and organization of the underlying databases in order to harvest data to evaluate trends and correlations in the various parameters.
    • Regularly monitor the system to ensure optimal functionality and performance.
    • Collaborate with IT specialists to address any issues or impairments in system functionality.
  • Data Analysis and Insights:
    • Analyze performance and quality data from the Forcam system to identify trends, anomalies, and improvement opportunities.
    • Utilize advanced analytical techniques to extract actionable insights from the data.
  • Collaboration and Improvement Initiatives:
    • Work closely with the manufacturing process engineer, machinery development engineers, and manufacturing branch team to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Collaborate on identifying and implementing process improvements based on data analysis findings.
  • Performance and Quality Improvements:
    • Identify factors impacting machine performance and product quality through thorough data analysis.
    • Develop predictive models to forecast performance metrics and quality indicators.
    • Implement data-driven strategies to optimize machine performance, reduce downtime, and minimize defects.
    • Monitor and communicate the effectiveness of implemented improvements to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Training and Documentation:
    • Serve as a resource to train system users on the Forcam system.
    • Develop comprehensive work instructions, procedures, documentation, and training materials to support system usage and understanding.
  • Data Organization and Presentation:
    • Organize and analyze data effectively to draw out insights and recommend actions for improvement.
    • Present findings and recommendations in a clear and concise manner to stakeholders and management.
    • Document case studies of improvement activities.

To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to draw actionable insights from complex datasets.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively through cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality of analysis

Things we consider a plus:

  • Experience with data analysis tools and programming languages such as Python, R, SQL, etc.
  • Strong understanding of how to organize data for analysis.
  • Ability to use data visualization to understand and illustrate trends and patterns.
  • Demonstrated ability to present clear conclusions from data analysis.
