Quantitative Developer, Portfolio Management

Overview

Responsibilities

The Quantitative Developer is responsible for designing, developing, testing and deploying sophisticated software solutions for the Portfolio Management department. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding and passion for technology, software development, and mathematics. The Quantitative Developer will partner with the Quantitative Research team to continuously define priorities and deliver custom software solutions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or equivalent experience
  • Proficiency within two or more of the following languages: Python, C++, R, C#
  • Comfortable with coding within an OO paradigm.
  • Experience with some of the following areas: Dashboard building, Cloud Computing, Natural Language Processing, Machine Learning, Platform Development, Networking, System        Design, and/or Web Development
  • Proficiency with relational-databases as well as NoSQL. Experience with KDB a plus
  • Exceptional quantitative and analytical skills
  • Knowledge of finance is a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
